The Hall of Moons and the Williamson Gallery Patrons The Williamson Gallery Patrons are a group of individuals who provide annual support for programming in Art Center's Alyce de Roulet Williamson Gallery. The Hall of Moons is a section of the WORLDS exhibition that features the amazing and mysterious diversity of natural satellites orbiting planets in our Solar System. For The Hall of Moons, eight images were captured from NASA data. They have been digitally processed and each image is printed as a signed limited edition on 22 X 15 inch archival printmaking paper by WORLDS curator Stephen Nowlin. These views of celestial satellites are unique to WORLDS, and are available only as an expression of appreciation to Williamson Gallery Patrons who are invited to select one print for every $1,000 of annual giving. To view the Hall of Moons prints, click "forward," above. Patrons are critical to the continuation of world-class exhibitions in the Williamson Gallery, providing funds for subsidizing original new works by artists, enabling the gallery to reach across the nation and planet to artists of different geographies and cultures, making possible the printing of publications that preserve and document gallery exhibitions, as well as engaging writers for those publications who forge new art history out of Williamson Gallery endeavors. Please consider becoming a Patron of the Williamson Gallery in support of the exciting and unique program it provides and through which you can help make a real difference in the cultural vibrancy of our time.
